This website is currently a work in progress. If you need to contact me, please send me an email at eric@erprewitt.com and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. For now, please find some information about me below.

My name is Eric R. Prewitt, and I’m a soon to be graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. I have a lot of hobbies, but my absolute passion is in the performance auto industry and motorsports. I am an extremely competitive individual when it comes to my passions, so motorsports is a huge part of my life. Having always had an interest in technology, I love the integration of technology into motorsports in ways such as datalogging and engine/chassis controls. For these reasons, during my time so far at the University of Kentucky I’ve been a part of the university’s Formula Society of Automotive Engineers team, Formula Kentucky. On this team, I’ve learned a great deal about project management and the engineering design process. For the last 2 years on the team, I’ve been this Electronics Subsystems lead, where I’ve led small teams of individuals to design, spec and build the electrical systems used on the team’s car at competition, including datalogging systems and an electronic shifter. My goal post graduation is to work in the motorsports industry while also working on side endeavors in motorsports of my own.
